Mask Policy Update

We want to thank everyone for their support of the masking policies during the Spring Season. We are thankful for the great season we have had to this point as well as the health and safety of our participants. We received the following guidance from PA West regarding the Pennsylvania masking policy.

This note is to share that while the current Masking Order issued by the Commonwealth of PA is still effective, the Order does allow participants to unmask if there is a subjective feeling that is unsafe during play. The Order also permits players to pull down their mask when they are appropriately distanced from others while on the field play.

Adherence to the Masking Order by players and unvaccinated coaches in the technical area still applies.

Further, the PA Department of Health revised the Masking Order to permit fully vaccinated persons to coach, referee, and watch without a mask.

As a result of this recent change to the masking policy, we are informing our club members of the revised guidance. Please note that we, as a club, are informing you as parents/guardians of your right to inform your coach about your subjective feeling regarding your player wearing masks during play. We do ask that unvaccinated individuals continue to wear masks while at any soccer related activities sponsored by the club.

We look forward to a safe conclusion to the season.
