Plum Soccer Families

I'm happy to inform you that registration is now OPEN for the 2020-2021 Travel Team Tryouts.  While the Covid-19 pandemic has delayed and altered how we will need to go about things, we are planning for a fall travel season.  That preparation starts now.  We will be doing things a little differently this year, and all decisions are being made with player, spectator and coaches safety in mind.  All players wishing to be placed on a travel team for the 2020-2021 season must register at register.plumsoccer.org.  Please find your child's appropriate age group below for a brief summary on how this year's travel tryout and player evaluation will work.

All families should review our Return to Play Protocol and familiarize themselves on how things will look once we get back on the field.  These protocols were created with player, spectator and coaches safety in mind and must be followed at all times.  All players must submit a waiver prior to taking part in any PAYS training, game, practice or tryout.  All current travel and in-house players must submit a waiver to their coach prior to their first team activity.  Any player that is not currently on a PAYS travel or in-house team can bring a completed waiver and turn it in while checking in on the first night of tryouts.

U9 (2012 Birth Year):
The U9 (2012) age group will have a formal on field tryout at Larry Mills Park.  Players will go through various drills, workouts and scrimmages.  They will be evaluated on their abilities compared to others in the same age group and gender.  Each night the players should check in at the pavilion next to the shed and then go directly to the assigned field. Interested players must make at least one tryout night but multiple (or all) is recommended.

• Tryout dates are Friday 6/26, Monday 6/29 and Tuesday 6/30
  
• Boys will be on Larry Mills field B1. Check in is at 5:45 and the tryout is from 6-7:15
• Girls will be on Larry Mills field B2.  Check in is at 7:00 and the tryout is from 7:15-8:30
