The 2010 Plum Kickoff Classic is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 27th-29th.  The tournament is hosted this year for club travel teams ages u-10, u-11, u-12, u-13, and u-14.  The tournament features travel teams from the tri-sate area and is intended to ready your teams for the upcoming Fall 2010 season.  Each team will receive at least three-games followed by quarter, semi and final matches depending on the number of entries in each bracket.  Trophies and champion ceremonies will follow each championship match.Last year we had to limit the attendance to 104 teams and this will be the same number of teams accepted for 2010.  The tournament starts on Friday evening for local teams with Saturday and Sunday matches designated for both local and traveling teams.  The application process is listed below with one change from last year:We will accept the electronic application sent to the tournament email as long as the paper application and check for payment is received within one week of electronic delivery. 
An email confirmation that your team registration has been accepted will be forwarded to you once the mail application with check for payment has been received.

Please use the below registration attachment to submit your application.  The application can be sent electronically to plumkickoffclassic@comcast.net followed by the paper copy mailed with a check for $315.00 to:

Tee-Shirts

Submit your tee-shirt orders when you send your registration forms.  Tee-shirts have a retro design this year and team names will be printed on the back along with the tournament logo on the front.  There will be a limited number and sizes of tee-shirts at the tournament so order now as we did run out of tee-shirts early on Saturday last year.  Tee-shirt applications will be accepted through August 20th. Rosters, Registration and Medical Release Forms

 

As the head coach, you are required to register at least 45 minutes before your initial game.  Please ensure you give yourself enough time.   Our staff will be checking-in all teams at our main information booth which is next to the concession stand.  Please bring two copies of your team stickered roster using the standard sheet from PA West.  We will keep one and return the second copy to you.  Your club will provide you with the PA West stickered rosters.  The PA West rules specify that August tournaments can use the 2009-10 rosters if the 2010-11 has not yet been issued by PA West.Bring your player cards and copies of birth certificates for your guest players.  You will need copies of birth certificates for your players that do not yet have their cards.  You are allowed up to three guest players and their birth dates have to fall within the prescribed age schedule as outlined by PA West.  We will verify your player cards/ birth certificates at check-in against your rosters.   Our Field Marshall’s will also check your roster and player cards/birth certificates before each game (to clarify, a birth certificate is not needed if the player has a card)  You also need to bring a medical release form for each player which we will keep.  The medical release forms are in the attachment.  Medical Release Forms are necessary for each player. Please print a copy of the medical release form; have each player complete; and bring them to the registration table before your first match. Housing

For those traveling from out-of-town, we have arrangements made with the Holiday Inn in Monroeville for a discount. The discounted room rate is $85.95 per night.
