Adult Referees Needed and Ages 12+

Want to earn money while you participate in the game you love and enjoy? 

A referee "grade" is a level of certification and has nothing to do with school.

Grade 9 Referees

• Referees younger than 16 years of age must take the Grade 9 course
• Referees 16 years of age and older may also certify as a Grade 9
• Cost is $40.00 and requires 12 hours class time
• The Grade 9 course certifies referees to work recreation, recreation plus and transitional games (In-house and Travel Divisions 2, 3, 4, B, and C)

Grade 8 Referees

• Can certify two ways:
  • Referee can take the Grade 9 course ($40.00 - 12 hours) and then take the Bridge course ($10.00 - 9 hours) to attain a Grade 8 Certification
  • Referee can take the Grade 8 course (cost is $50.00 - 21 hours)
• The Grade 8 course certifies referees to work all levels of competition within PA West Soccer
